“We are one body… if one part suffers , every part suffers with it” (1. Corinthians 12:26)We were inspired by that idea of overcoming community apathy, and it led us to focus our new brand around the phrase:community-led development. We believe in the African philosophies of Ubuntu and Ujamaa.

Before COVID -19 we had already realised the impact of climate change on women and youth. Women being the ones that bear the brunt of poverty and unemployed youth who depend on agriculture as their livelihoods are faced with challenges that result from climate change.
Volunteer NowOur goal is to promote food security by organising 1 million families to grow vegetable gardens. We provide access to sufficient, safe & nutritious food. The programme further aimed to improve conditions in rural and peri-urban areas through development of capacity, skills and values within these communities to meet long term goals of sustainable development and poverty alleviation within the context of food security using a sustainable livelihoods approach.
Volunteer NowOur program contributed to reducing stigma and discrimination for PLWHA. Churches formed support groups and provided space for testing and treatment campaigns. Recently churches are partnering with civil society organisations to promote adherence to treatment and to continue to sensitive people about HIV prevention.
